Gehry returns to France

Bernard Arnault is commissioning Frank Gehry to design a new glass covered cultural center in Western Paris. Says Gehry, "The idea is of a cloud made of glass. The French are famous for their work in glass, so that’s exciting. It’s difficult to achieve in architecture, but we’re getting there.”

It also kind of looks like what I picked up after my trip to the dog park this morning, but the architect says it's a work in progress and the design is not yet finalized, so I'll withhold judgement. Full story in the NYT.

I too thought it was a bunny nibbling grass. The architect needs to re-work the form........too many bunny comments.

I hear Frank Gehry reads this blog in his spare time. I'm sure he'll make note of the previous comments.
