Bill Massie at BSU CAP

William (Bill) Massie, fearless proponent of affordable modern design for the people and current Director of the Architecture program at Cranbrook Academy for the Arts will be speaking at the Ball State University College of Architecture and planning (CAP) on Monday April 7th at 4pm. In addition to his egalitarian perspective on modern living, Massie has been a forerunner in the development of digital design-to-manufacturing systems, which attempts to minimize the process of construction between design and installation by utilizing CNC (computer numeric controlled) fabrication and systems of prefabrication. So find somebody with a Toyota, tell your boss you're not feeling well after that lunch, and carpool yourselves to Muncie on Monday.

For sure check out this lecture!
I studied Bill at Cranbrook and later worked on some of his houses for him. His lectures are not quite as vast and exciting as his personality (and his work), but you will see how this guy thinks; from the inside to the outside. Micro (skipping macro) to COSMIC.
