Marsh Project Gallery, Herron School of Art and Design

Dreamscapes: Greg Ajamie and Cindy Hinant
Opening Reception: Friday, October 12, 6-9pm
Dreamscapes is the work of Herron students Cindy Hinant and Greg Ajamie. Hinant, a senior studying sculpture and ceramics, says her work explores space through landscape representations and site- specific installations, using bright colors and childish imagery. Greg Ajamie, a senior studying sculpture and photography, creates work that merges mythical creatures and pop-cultural references in colorful felt installations.

South Side Gallery Hop
The South Side Gallery Hop is the brain child of a few local art galleries looking for ways to make the arts more accessible to Indianapolis’ South Side residents. With the Indianapolis art scene taking off, and more and more young families moving into the area, the timing is right.

The participating galleries include Green Door Fine Art, For the Love of Art, Mr. French’s Workshop and Gallery, Pulse Creative Partners and the Southside Art League’s Off-Broadway Gallery.

The South Side Gallery Hop series kicks off with it’s first hop Friday, October 12, 2007 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.
