Recent Projects at Bridge Art Fair- Day 1
Do you like this story?
Okay, so I am going to attempt to keep everyone in Indy updated about our adventures in Chicago over the next several days. For those of you who are not aware, Recent Projects has a booth at the Bridge Art Fair, a satelite fair to Art Chicago. It is both exciting and highly stressful running a booth for my first time. What has the day brought me...
1- Map Quest sucks! Got lost on three seperate occasions.
2- Stopping by IKEA was a bad idea for getting a couple chairs for the booth as they were a pain in the ass to assemble and though they are currently together, I don't quite trust sitting in them.
3- Crushed in the side of my fathers new truch that I borrowed, there goes all my savings.
4- $38 a day for parking at the hotel.
5- 8 works were lost during delivery to our booth, though they were finally found they were brought back slightly damaged. I think we can salvage them.
6- I lost my cell phone charger.
7- And it has been raining most of the day.
Strangley enough, I am optimistic about tomorrow. Stay tuned in to see what happens next, hopefully I will have some picks for you to see. If you can make it up to Chicago, come by and say hello. And for those of you who have sent me emails about visiting us while up here for the Fairs, sorry I have not responded but I look forward to meeting with you. Bring on the ART!
