Weekend Preview

  • At the Harrison Center, The Harrison Center collaborates with Riley Hospital for Children to explore the healing partnership between patients and doctors. The show will feature 30 pieces of art by Riley patients with accompanying narratives by art therapist, Elyce Elder, MAAT.

    Also at the Harrison Center in Gallery No. 2. Jan 5th - 19th

    Recent Projects presents Consumption - recent works by Greg Ajamie, Cindy Hinant, Jacob Stanley, Keith Hampton, Mike Treffehn, Barb Zech and Jamie Pawlus.

Fountain Square and South

  • At Big Car Fountain Square, Sarah Zeta Zuckerman's solo exhibition features works of art in response to political and environmental brutality witnessed by the artist. "Carteles," Spanish for signs, is an assortment of small drawings, yard signs, clothing, and paintings.
  • Katherine Hilden - The Recently Discovered Drawings of Vermeer Part IVat Galerie Penumbra. Read preview in Indy Star here.

Just to set the record straight, Mike's surname is Treffehn, not Preffehn. Mike's an old friend of mine from DePauw, and I expect he would appreciate the clarification.

Yeah, sorry about that. I met him yesterday as he was installing his work. A really nice guy. That is what happens I when you dictate names via a cell phone. Sorry Mike. Thanks for fixing it Chris.
