Los Angeles-based artist Ingrid Calame is looking for 6 - 10 assistants to help her trace marks and stains at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Tracing involves blocks of time spent kneeling and using pencil and mylar to trace skidmarks and oil stains on the track. These tracings will be used to create a series of paintings for a solo exhibition at the Indianapolis Museum of Art next year. Your participation in this project would be greatly appreciated.
Pay: $12/hour
Dates of tracing: Sunday, October 22 - Saturday, October 28
Please wear comfortable, warm clothing. Knee pads will be provided.
