- 7 pm - Artist talk and film at the IMA's Stout Library. Chicago-based artist Jason Salavon is a nationally known leader in the emerging genre of computer-based art. He uses software to reconfigure data, offering new perspectives on the familiar. Hear a short talk by Salavon, followed by the film he selected: The Way Things Go (Der Laufe Der Dinge) by Fischli and Weiss.
Friday, April 21st
- 6 pm - Young Artists Show at Big Car with the works of artists ages 15 through 18: Catlin Coraz, Alex Harlow, Julian Wildhack-Poyser,Tim Coleman, Darcy McGuire, Evan Farrel. (one weekend only).
