Maybe if we keep saying it over and over...



Thanks to Jason from Four Square No. 266 (whose blog looks suspiciously like ours - obviously a man of class and distinction) for raising the architectural issue in Indy again. The building above is proposed for downtown Louisville. So now we have myself, Jason, and hopefully a lot of others who will continue to speak out about the conservative, ho-hum attitude this city and it's businesses take towards new construction. Maybe someday someone will listen.

I think it's pretty heinous, but I also like the fact that it's heinous. And I like the fact I can write heinous twice in the same sentence.

I like it because it challenges traditional thoughts of design.

I don't like it because it doesn't challenge traditional thoughts on design. It looks like a boring building holding up another boring building that's laid on its side. Not too challenging. I agree, it's heinously heinous.
