Hoppe always seems to say it best...

From the most recent Nuvo:

"...Unfortunately, Ballard has still seen fit to slash public funding by a third - a draconian cut that will be felt in schools and neighborhood centers throughout the city.
Sadder still is the fact that many arts advocates are breathing a sigh of relief about this. They feel like they've dodged a bullet when, in fact, they've lost a leg."

Yes he does. I love this one I read today also:

"Fortunately, the Luc’s elegantly retro architecture recalls an era when fossil fuels were cool, and so its almost willfully backward-looking moniker can be regarded as a kind of thematic flourish, like the sort of historical detail Disney’s set designers might add to one of their make-believe street scenes."

... genius at work.

I just love the giant eye sore... It looks like any other cookie cutter stadium in the country. It provides the brain washing entertainment that a declining society needs to keep its population busy while being shortchanged. While everyone is looking up at the retractable roof, art is being stolen from after school programs courtesy of Mr. Ballard, as we raise a dumb uninspired generation of no-art/no-science.

Fellow Americans, it's with utmost pride and sincerity that I present you History in the making during our generation: "Allow me to introduce my self: My name is HOV, H with the O V, I used to move snowflakes by the O-Z"

This ain't no movie dog...
